Tinteán Theatre Mission

The Tinteán Theatre Mission is to operate a purpose built performance venue with contemporary Traditional Irish Dance, Irish Music and literature as its core and tourism as its primary audience market.The Tinteán Theatre is intended to act as a catalyst in the tourism repositioning of Ballybunion as a venue for the Arts and general theatrical entertainment and for The Tinteán to be a major element of the "Arts and Cultural Ring of Kerry".

The Tinteán Theatre is a 530 seat venue, with associated Exhibition, Administration Offices and Bar Facilities, in Ballybunion, Co Kerry.

The Box Office is open for ticket collection two hours prior to a performance.
Payment in regard to pre-booked tickets must be made at least one day prior to a performance.
All major Credit Cards, including Laser Cards, are accepted.

PHONE
The Tinteán Theatre phone line is open for ticket sales from 10am until 5pm during non-performance days and Winter months and from 9am until 6pm during winter months and until 9pm on performance days.

INTERNET
Tickets and information for all events at the Tinteán Theatre are available on www.tintean.com. If you wish you may book tickets from your PC or laptop.

CONCESSIONS
Concessions are available to Senior Citizens, Unemployed Persons, Students and Children.

Please note that Concession rates may not be available for every performance.
Group booking rates are available for designated productions.

LATECOMERS
For the comfort of the performers and the audience and in the interest of Health and Safety, latecomers will not be admitted to the main Auditorium until after the intermission. Latecomers have the option of viewing the performance on monitors located on each level or they may be escorted to seats on the Balcony Level for the remainder of the first half of the performance.

Please consider the purchase of a Tinteán Theatre Gift Certificate as a unique gift for that special occasion or celebration..

THEATRE BAR / PRE-ORDERED DRINKS
The Theatre Bar will be open thirty minutes prior to a performance. It is also open for twenty minutes at the intermission and may be open for thirty minutes after the performance. It is advisable to order intermission drinks before the performance-patrons will avoid the rush!
Please note that the same regulations apply in regard to young people as are applicable in any
Public Bar.

CAR PARK
Patrons park vehicles at their own risk. The Tinteán Theatre Board of Directors shall not accept any responsibility for theft or damage to vehicles parked in the Tinteán Theatre Car Park. Patrons are kindly requested to remove their vehicles immediately after the performance as the gates shall be locked as agreed with local residents.

PLEASE NOTE:
The use of Mobile Phones or any technical recording equipment including Video and Flash Photography is strictly prohibited in the Auditorium.
The anti-smoking regulations apply as is the case in all public access buildings.
Herbal Tobacco may be smoked on stage! All details are correct at time of going to print.
The management of the Tinteán Theatre reserves the right to alter the programme in the event of any unforeseen circumstances and to offer special discounted tickets at any time.
The management of the Tinteán Theatre reserves the right to refuse admission to the Theatre building and its grounds.

DATA PROTECTION ACT
Please note that if you book tickets for the Tinteán Theatre and furnish details of your address/email and contact numbers those furnished details there will be stored in a central database at the Tinteán Theatre. From time to time we may send you information about the Tinteán Theatre and its programme of events. If you do not wish to receive this information, please inform the Box Office Staff when booking seats. Thank you.
